Has the BSNL Broadband Double Speed offer been redacted?

Now after giving me 1mb speed turned my connection to 56k modem speed. **** off BSNL.

I think its all the problems caused from the under sea cable cut!We may have to wait for the problem to get solved......(maybe till then the speed increase will be finished by BSNL )

Double speeds are gone. I am back to 256kbps from today morning.

Same here. Went back to 256 from 512 yesterday afternoon. Have been having a few issues with Google DNS not responding as the trace route failed. BSNL DNS working fine though.Looks like the offer has been withdrawn now that IPL 3 is finished. Too bad, it was good while it lasted!!

Looks like the offer has been withdrawn now that Indian Premier League 3 is finished. Too bad, it was good while it lasted!!

I am experiencing good download speeds but the surfing speed has become so frustrating that sometimes I feel like banging the enter button so hard as to break it to be able to get on to the website I am trying to open.

The surfing speed now is inconsistent and it is worse than what it used to be until March 31st when this so called double speed hadnt come into picture.

Very likely that they killed the plan because of the cable cut issue, Airtel seem to have done something similar.

The cable cut issue cannot have a unique situation where you get a good download speed and bad surfing speed. They told me theres something wrong with the server.
