Hathway Broadband launches Docsis 3.0 Ultra High speed network

I haven't had any downtime on it so far - been using it for a little over a month now.

That sounds really positive. But I guess as more users install this, speeds may drop somewhat

@shethsa - that remains to be seen. I am hoping that they will not compromise on speed at the cost of additional subscribers. Can only hope for the best.
@arafat - You broadband already offers 50Mbps in Pune - similar FUP as Hathway. See http://www.youbroadband.in/broadbandplans/pune.php - you want the Holy Cow plans.

Amit - how long did it take from your call till final installation? I've called them 2 days ago and haven't got a single response even from the sales team yet (mumbai)

It took forever. I had to finally go to the Hathway office in Kamala Mills to collect the modem. I already had a cable line coming into my house, so thereafter it was plug and play. It seems like they don't want to sell the connection to you. I have a call centre number (not handy right now) which is only for Docsis 3.0 plans. Will send you that later. I've paid them. Tomorrow they visit my house to install. Crossing my fingers!Uodate; Bad news! Local cable operator not giving permission to hathaway guys for accessing the cable. Ridiculous! Is there any solution to this?

I had a chat with my local cable operator Who said that they are not allowing hathway to install only because the contract with hathway is in process of getting signed... A matter of 10 days or so. So hopefully things should work out.
