Hathway Broadband launches Docsis 3.0 Ultra High speed network

Docsis 3.0 from Narmin point
The connection was good for the first monthsecond month onwards it started fluctuating and then it started disconnecting frequently.I keep calling the dedicated customer care for my INTERNET and they keep saying we will ask the engineer to solve the issue which he doesn't and then back to square one. Dont think the speed is Great. Its just for a month to rope you in after that back to there old fashion crap

I dont think u should go for this since its just like the same thing after a month its back to square one frequent disconnection and high latency

I have been lucky I guess as I have not had any downtime. Also the connection is still superfast. I am most relieved by the fact that the authentication screen is gone. That was a big pain in the neck.
 
So if you guys with docsis 3 had to advise me of 3 things I must ask hathaway at the time of installation, what should these be?

Jhonny, my speedtest result doesn't change much. Must I consider myself lucky?
 
So for anyone who's on C TV in South Mumbai, their version is that the agreement with hathaway should be signed in next couple of days. Hathaways version is that this has been pending for 2 months now and there's no visibility. So I'm getting a refund for now and sticking to 4mbps Mtnl plan
 
At Napean Sea Road, the cable operator wants an additional Rs. 2500/- for installation. Over and above the installation charges being paid to Hathway. Complete RIP-OFF. Who in their right mind is going to pay Rs. 3500 for installation...
 
I had latency issues last night. Called up the call centre. They acknowledged the problem and assured me that someone will call me in the morning and let me know the status. No call yet but the net connection was working fine when I checked at 6 am.
 
Back
