In some companies/projects, people dont bother because there is unlikely to be theft because of security cameras. I have worked in a project wherein you had to keep your phone outside in a locker with shelfs as cameras not allowed inside project area. Ofcourse, the security guy may remember that its your mobile, and do not allow anyone else to take it, but you are leaving it at a risk that the guard or someone else may try to see its contents..

Let users decide! Hdfc already lets users decide whether they want OTP or secure code. Let them do the same for this
