[*]TD-W8961ND - Rs 3600/-
[*]TD-W8951ND
[*]TD-W8950ND
[*]TD-W8901G - Rs 1800/-
[*]Belkin F7D2401zb Surf Wireless Modem Router Rs 3500/-
[/list]

Bro can u briefly point out the difference in the above TP-Link products beside the N & G and the no. of antenas.
As I pointed out earlier I am looking for cheap VFM product on the lines of MTNL's HG520. As TD-W8961ND is double the price of TD-W8901G, please point out the additional advantage of TD-W8961ND as I am not that well versed in technical jargon.

TIA

Since you didn't excatly mention your requirements in terms of usage like Video streaming data transfers, NAS's I gave you a list of all possible routers.

Please let me your requirements and exact range requirements and possible clients so that I can shortlist it for you.

Please understand modem-com wireless router's are a niche in markets especially in India, people don't know how to set them up and are quite expensive compared to normal wireless routers.

I suggest you buy a high powered normal wifi router connected to your wired MTNL modem for best bang for buck and easy to configure as well.

Regards

The price difference is because of the one is N series 300megs and the other is 54megs b/g that's why the cost difference. The number of antennas are more for more range diversity ie-2X3dbi gain !!

Bro this is going to be normal home usage emails, some youtube & some online gaming; nothing hardcore.

Please let me your requirements and exact range requirements and possible clients so that I can shortlist it for you.

I would have around 2 wireless laptops & 2 wired desktops. As I said earlier MTNL's HG520 was serving my purpose. I think this would be comparable to TD-W8901G. I am repeating myself just because you may point out some fine points as it is going to be fresh purchase & a difference of 20% price is acceptable for better quality or feature.

Regarding setting up the modem cum router I dont have any issues. I can work it out. For me it would be hassele to configure 2 things as till date I have used one unit only, whether wired or wireless. Costwise also I think 2 things modem+ router would be more expensive. The downside would be I suppose dividing the risk in to 2 units & in the the combo it would be 1 device.

I suggest you buy a high powered normal wifi router connected to your wired MTNL modem for best bang for buck and easy to configure as well.

In that case bro I have to purchase both as MTNL, Delhi charges rent on all plans. Please suggest Cheap VFM option. Again a difference of 20% price is acceptable for better quality or feature.

This I could figure out, any other feature or enhancement in N series.

TIA

Check the Antenna Gain of each model. Higher the better.
