Help needed : Making it super wireless

hi,I bought the router[TP-Link WR 1043ND gigabit with USB ] for Rs 3800/- and 3 - 5 dbi Antennas for 550 each. Its expensive but thats the only way to solve range woes without using RJ 45 cables !!N routers though future proof require N clients*. I have 2 laptops all having N adapters I bought for my PC TP-LINK TL- WN821N usb N adapter for Rs 1100 from EBAY!! All routers with WAN port will work with your D-Link modem. I have Sterlite SAM300X one.Suggested Routers- TP LINK WR941ND - 3 upgradeable Antennas TP LINK WR 1043ND - 3 upgradeable Antennas USBASUS RT N 16 - 3 upgradeable Antennas USBBUFFALO WHR-HP-G300N - 3 upgradeable AntennasAll here are N series 300MBPSRegards

@karanGreat.Thanks for the suggestions and replies.Would look into the ones you recommended.The TP-Link ones seems to be great deals. Whats your review on them? Any issues or setup problem? Let me know how good it has been for you.I was shocked to see no D-Link / Linksys / Netgear / Belkin in that list, usually people recommend those Buffalo would be awesome but hard to find, would search out locally.BUFFALO WHR-HP-G300N has 2 antennas i guess.And whats the good part about having the USB one? I didn't understand its importance actually. :\Thanks again for the help.

Hi,Sorry for the late reply I am in Delhi for a meet,You wanted "range" over everything else that's the reason TP-Link since they are the only manufacturers that include Externally upgradable antennas in all their ranges.They are relatively cheaper and offer great value.BUFFALO WHR-HP-G300N - Try BitFANG.comChoices are upto you since in the end all serve the same purpose.I will give you an example - Asus RT N16 = Rs 6000/- is having the same internal components as TP LINK WR 1043ND for Rs 3800/-USB to attach your pendrives, external HDD's etc making them NAS.RegardsPS- I aint no TP LINK sales Rep !!

I haven't connected it to my system, right now am using a wireless modem cum router provided by MTNL.Tell me how can i help you, if you want i would connect and get your the firmware. But couldn't you find it online? Firstly D-Link is charging Rs.550 for firmware upgrade & are also saying that they will not gaurantee if it works at home. They were advising me to buy a new modem cum router. So paying Rs.550 is not worth it. It is not available online, i have googled a lot but no luck.

You can send me the backup of the firmware at your own convenience. I will give it a shot on my GLB-502T modem-router.
