I got my JioFiber installed today and believe me, the ping are terrible. I have 35ms for servers in Mumbai on my other connection and here, Jio has similar ping till Kolkata. Ping for Mumbai is 100+, 140ms for Valorant. Very poor routing.

i had the same issue but fortunately today after a temporary outage the ping is back to normal. Is it only with me or jio has solved its routing problems?

Ping is fixed to some extent(Have below 50ms) but there is huge packet loss. The connectivity with Cloudflare is pretty bad and the gaming experience is shit.

@WandereR The packet losses happens when you try connecting using ipv4. Try using ipv6 for connecting to cloudfare servers, the connection is amazing. No packet loss or spikes. But you have to first install wireguard.

Then make sure you are only connected to your router and turn off other internet access (ipv4) sources like wifi. Then disable ipv4 from adapter settings and check if ipv6 is enabled. Then connect using wireguard. Your public ipv4 should be now from cloudfare, and you would be connecting using ipv6. You can then check the connection quality

Using JioFiber for gaming is the biggest stupidity, they have terrible routing and latency issues across all customers in India.
If you have good latencies to 1.1.1.1, they try using warp, using it your routing would go through Cloudflare and that way you should get better latencies than what jio is providing. Just don't use it for downloading stuff, it's not worth it. Also use the wireguard app and create the warp config yourself, don't use the app, it's crap. All the best.

@Lolita_Magnum But you stay in Mumbai, and Jio has good latencies and routeing for Mumbai users. What makes you unhappy with Jio? I am just a few kilometers from Mumbai and my Pings are Dog shit to Mumbai. Infact my latencies to Nagpur and Bhopal are better than the pings to my city and Mumbai

Maybe You're correct. The problem with using IPv6 is that my ping is higher compared to IPv4 as My IPv4 gateway is in Ranchi while the IPv6 one is at Kolkata.

I have been using it at times through the desktop app and it's very buggy. At times you'll see 40ms ping and the next moment, the pings timeout. Another issue is that it even plays with my network. After I turn it off my internet doesn't work. Have to reset it.
Maybe I should try it with wireguard.
