I am on Airtel Xstream fiber since 2+ years, I usually get around 20ms in Counter Strike and under 10ms in my local city servers. However from past few weeks I am getting 80-90ms in CS and 60-70ms on my speed test server.

From 57 it goes to 90++, it was under 20ms before.

Tried restarting router as well, didn't work.
Are you facing the same as well ?

Am from jabalpur aswell and facing exact same issue ,i have opened service request regarding this .

My shop also has airtel fiber but there ping seems to be normal. I think there is some issue with our city airtel broadband office located in vijay nagar

Seems like it, let me know the reply you get from airtel.
I will call my local Technician to confirm as well.

Did you restarted your router ?

i also got this issue and usually reconnecting the pppoe solved this issue. I had to try 5-10 times to get low latency. It is airtels gateway issue

So I'm not the only facing the issue, I'll contact the senior technician tomorrow and ask him to fix it, as despite being on a static IP i'm getting higher latency

ive been told by customer care that many people are facing same issue and they need 48 hrs to fix it , local "wifi expert" told me dsl knock can fix the issue but dsl knock office is not picking up the call. if problem is not fixed within a week am switching to jio

Netgear XR 1000 has gotten cheaper and is available for around 24K, I might look into it... I was planning to get a UDM Pro, guess I'll have to save again.

routing in most of the LCO based cities are fked up. Even I tried talking to the NOC guy and explained him things but he didnt do sh1t.
