I went with 750 Rs ONU. Just a simple ONU with single Gigabit ethernet port and no wifi intended to be used in bridge mode. I use my own PFSense router.

Here is another test to SIngapore on a 200MBPS line,

If it were router capacity issue , wouldn't speed on Indian servers gets affected too ?

i'm not entirely sure where the bottleneck is, i mentioned here before on how a test account belonging to Excitel got very good intl speeds where as my own LCO's Account got bad speeds.

i think it is that each router has a lower transit bandwidth or something.

Speeds on Singapore servers should be fine as its the closest data hub located near India with several submarine routes . Problems happens when you need speed on servers located in UK/American region.
(Talking in general, not specific to any isp )

They’re offering 300 mbps for INR 2k quarterly. No installation charges or security if I take this plan. I wonder what the caveat is.

Very poor reliability. It will go down regularly at a whim. Excitel is good as a secondary WAN but not as a primary connection.

@JB701 since excitel is no more providing no-wifi ONU, can we still use any ONU by cloning mac address and serial number? will it work?
