How is your ISP doing with increased traffic due to the COVID-19?

Traffic surge might have happened due to multiple factors its hard to pinpoint. We can just take a guess that's it.

I noticed that on Extreme-IX, spikes on peak times are going to 700-710Gbps range while before spikes was usually under 600Gbps ish on most days (sometimes upto 650Gbps).

Its hard to determine if its due to COVID-19 or a combination of other factors.

@vu3knb Is it all the time or just during peak hours? I am back in Kerala and would need to WFH using BSNL. Hopefully BSNL is able to handle it.

From 18th March slowness is there throughout the day time. Before that day , it was mainly during peak hours ( I have experienced it between 12.30pm to 4.30 pm )

@varkey Singapore and Europe is not that bad for me but links to US is completely saturated.

@varkey bsnl ftth nowdays have the best speed to international servers.

@Ameen SingTel has some issues.
Try OVH or starhub servers in Singapore.
I usually have 35-40 ms ping to singapore server except SingTel which has latency about 250ms.
