I went to BSNL office today and submitted the request to change my plan. The person told me that he would not be able to activate the plan if it is not added to their official plan list as it is a promotional plan.
Also he told me that self-care is useless it is only used for paying the bills.
I'll update tomorrow if I get new plan or not.BTW I had submitted the request today @12 pm

I don't think selfcare is useless. When I was new to BSNL ftth, I had a different plan (forgot), then I applied for Superstar300 through selfcare only. That got activated within an hour. But this time, may be for some technical issues like high speed of 200/300 mbps, things are not happening properly. Hoping for the best.

My area's JTO called me and told me that they need LCO's sign and stamp on the application that I had submitted today. Then only the plans will activate.

I am also from Jamshedpur
Your plan change will not take place until and unless you go to the BSNL Office cuz of their shittty "Guidelines".I had gone to kadma exchange in the morning but they declined it as it didnt had lco's sign and stamp.

My exchange said since this is a promotional plan its only applicable for new cutomers :/ For existing customers it might be rolled in a few weeks depending on how these plans perform :censored:. Till it gets rolled out the selfcare request will be open it seems.
My exchange said the same thing. Way to make existing users feel like shit.
