@hemapriya.
Mostly all old DATAONE users have no problem checking their usage at above websites.
I use FireFox/and the DATAFOX add on gives my uptodate usage in the status bar.
Also Quick Dataone usage finder by sunish and DUF 2.0 also give the usage along with payment details effortlessly.

Now the problem is for new users , who seem to get IP 117 etc.
They have to register in a portal ( Like Airtel selfcare)
New User Registration
Then check their usage . None of the above sites seem to work for them

Now BSNL is trying to have one Brand name for all their services and Dataone will be called BSNL broadband gradually . ( similar to sancharnet becoming BSNL)

latest Post: Hi All, I installed DUF in my system. But its not working. I tried all the URLs http://10.240.64.195 http://10.240.89.199 http://10.240.128.195 http://10.240.16.195 http://10.240.144.195 Here is my question: I got the dataone broadband connection recently. Recent customers have to check their internet account usage using the 14digit PORTAL ID (not the user name) and as usual password as password in the website BSNL Portal Whether DUF supports for the recent dataone customers? (Since the internet usage website is entiely different from the old one and we are using portal id for checking account usage) Please help me in this regard

^ JFI : I am not sure if it is a 14 digit ID . my portal ID includes
8 digits of registration date ( format : ddmmyyyy ) . { it has to
be some characters + registration date }

is renting a bsnl modem or buying one a beter option -please suggest. andy
Rental would be a better option --- NIB Trivandrum Officials Testimony

PS : Dont ask me the logic behind it !!

I am from Hyderabad. I recently shifted from SIFY to BSNL 500. I got my Username & Password for my Net connection as well as Portal by dialling 12678 IVRS as advised by BSNL JTO. I was able to login to the portal and check my usage. However, DQUF is unable to retrieve usage data.

@yessgee . Thanks for the info. Please confirm Portal ID is 14 digit and password is password.
@ seshu . He did not register in the portal again. and got ID by dialing the Tf number.

hi . my bsnl type 2 modem is working superbly with thw vista laptop on wi fi so far. can i change the password ( not the user id) in my broadband connection shortcut as suggestted by the one page handout /acknowledgement handed over by the bsnl officce. if so do i just enter anew pasword in place f the old one in the bbnd icon and press remember me next time icon.andy
