@Hitori_Abhito7 It is not a credential issue. As I have mentioned in my previous posts, I can't get LAN link to work if I clone my GPON S/N to G7. This issue is specific to my connection. That's why I tested it on my immediate neighbour's connection, we both are on same fat-box and took connections same day and we both got same NokiaONT. Hence, it confirmed that Airtel does something special at their backend to enable bridge mode which blocks the use of own ONT equipment.
@MZRecords I'm thinking I'll rebuy the connection on another family member's name and try pppoe dial-up afresh since you say the last statement with such conviction....
@Hitori_Abhito7 even I am thinking of doing the same. I asked local technician to disable bride mode from backend and he refuses to do so. Buying a new connection looks like a viable option. Do you also have bridge mode enabled from backend? In my head unbinding bridge mode from our connections should solve this issue because thats the only difference in my connection and others I tested.
