@shivammangla change your TP-Link router to 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.2.1. Since both (XPON and Router) are on same network (192.168.1.1), you won't be able to connect it.

For eg.
XPON --> 192.168.0.1
TP-Link --> 192.168.1.1

or

XPON --> 192.168.1.1
TP-Link --> 192.168.2.1

Even I am not able to connect to Airtel PPPoE using XZ000-G7. As soon as I enter the fiber cord inside the XPON, it says registered even if I dont enter the Airtel PON Serial Number into it.

However, the PPPoE session wont connect.

FYI - I have input the Airtel PON Serial Number (Titanium-2122A) in XZ-G7 and have also set the VLAN to 100.

@MZRecords @tr1k0N4 - Tagging you guys in case you can help in my scenario. Saw you guys helping out members in different posts.

hi @MZRecords airtel default router is Genexis Titanium 2122A router, how to confirm the OLT device? i have bridge mode on. i assume the macid is locked.

ASCII and HEX value
GNXS 474e5853

gateway is 192.168.1.1 (default) for xpon G7 checked on G3 too with HEX value but not worked. PADI time out error in both.
gateway for er605 is 192.168.0.1 (default)

[email protected] failed to connect to the server because sending PADI times out.

here is the default setup in bridge mode which is working.

@pankaj98 @Aryanraj it wont work with g7 or g3 because your area might have ALCL olt it has minor issues with vlan translation [ your area might not have 100 as vlan it will be something else and its gets translated to 100 in airtel ont], so its best to stick with airtel ont for bridge mode. if its working why are you keen on changing it?

@anmolbhard004 I am not on bridge mode and the VLAN here is 100 as I was using it on an unlocked Dasan H660GM but recently they updated the firmware, that's the reason I opted to switch to XZ000-G7

@anmolbhard004 I also tried and failed to use G7 with airtel, finally resorted to using Airtel's Sarcomm router with one lan port on bridge mode and connected my Deco using pppoe.

The problem I'm facing is that I still need to restarted Airtels router in every few days(10 days) to keep the speeds up(300mbps plan), otherwise they drop to mere 10 mbps.

i have g3 v2, vlan scan is not working for me. well will continue with bridge setup as it is.
