How to Get Airtel's Backend to enable Bridge Mode

Folks,

I see a lot of you have been successful in getting Airtel's Backend to enable the bridge mode on your connections. I have been at it for the past 4 days and I am yet to encounter a knowledgable individual at Airtel's Call Center. I have escalated it to the Nodal email provided and I am hopeful they get this done.; however, I wanted to pick your brains on how you managed to enable the Bridge Mode.

Any advice / guidance is much appreciated.

Give it sometime to settle. Your bridge mode server might be taking load your configuration profile on airtel backend servers.
Try restarting both modems after 12 hours

I notice such issue in bridgemode as well. My download speed is locked at 250mbps and upload is 444mbps in Tenda router to Airtel Noida server, but on Huawei ont, it goes to 470-470mbps.

I tested with all plans

on 100mbps , 200 and 300 mbps its full speed but not on 1 gbps plan. On 1 gbps its 550-600 down and 600-700 up and that also not consistent

Hi all - an update

So airtel did enable bridge mode on my router - what they did was they remotely unlocked the router - i.e. all settings are now able to be edited

Damn. Was this done within few hours after contacting them?

On lan of course
Wifi was hovering between 350-400 mbps down/up

Yes - sent mail requesting bridge mode today @ 10:48 AM - got confirmation call from Airtel @ around 12:00 PM and the unlocking was done by around 12:40 PM

Mine was done within 30 minutes. Contacted local engineer directly after raising request

I sent email on saturday, got call yesterday. He said that he has forwarded the request to concerned department and will get update by 6th. Still nothing.
