How to send FAX

I want to send FAX of a Scanned Document or Word / Excel Document from my PC using my BSNL Broadband connection. is it possible to do so ? can anyone help please.i have seen sending fax of word document using dialup connection via dialup modem. i dont know how to do that.

you can do it if you have a dial up modem. but u cant do it through bsnl broadband...

you would have to use any of the online services if you do not have a modem (dial-up)...

Faxing in Windows XP

If you have a laptop which normally comes with a dialup modem...then you can send a fax using a fax application...winxp gives it by default.

I remember using some free fax server(around the year 1999.. don't remember the name now). It works like you send them a mail, they will send the document to the fax number you specify. There should be similar fax servers around. I am not sure. Try googling it.
