It will get activated but you will not get the 3 month offer unless you do the my jio app wala step from an eligible Samsung mobile.
You will only get 90 days 2GB data 100 call offer.

Activated the unlimited offer in my g4 plus.I downloaded those 4 apps and went offline in myjio.Then i got this thing"Get jio sim" and I click on it.It will say no internet connection.Then switch on Wifi then click on "get jio sim" again .It'll show jio preview offer activated.

My JIO app has a glitch which gives "Get a Jio sim" offer to most handsets if you go offline. Expect it to be fixed in upcomming update.
