Huawwei MT841 MTU setting

How do you set the MTU on a Huawei MT841 modem/router? I went through the whole menu tree and I didn't find it anywhere.The modem is running V100R001C01B021SP01 software.

Probably older modems did not have this function.
Will check up my MT882 later and update here. I don't remember seeing MTU setting option.
You can use Dr TCP and set/change MTU in your ethernet card.

Thanks! I've already made changes to my network adapter MTU and now we're trying our 3rd modem after Netgear DG632 and D-Link DSL-502T. Here we regularly suffer from page timeouts, long loading times and inability to login to Yahoo and MSN messengers. Sometimes some pages load and others don't and then later in the day the situation is reversed. Our sync speed is stable and we're on 256kbps UL so well within our limits. Often even though browsing is slow http, ftp and torrent downloads always run at the rated speed. Ping times are also often normal when pages are not loading, different protocol obviously but indicating that internet congestion is not necessarily the problem. We're using OpenDNS which is definitely not the answer as it only affects the resolving of the names and not the traffic after.Is this the case of most BSNL users' experience?

/members/damole/1.It is usual to recommend Opendns for slow speeds.You can ping a site with Bsnl DNS. Change to Opendns and ping same site. If you notice a difference retain OPENDNS.2. A speed of 32KB/sec is maximum you can expect.What is the sync speed shown in your modem ? Is the mod selected GDMT ?
