wow! recently have been getting SMS ...Govt. approved ....something something.... reported them...get sms from airtel we will send u .... but they never send anything after one sms confirming they have received the complain...:huh:. ?are they suppose to send another sms ? :disturbed:
i got text spammed by airtel yesterday. got around 40 sms in a period of 3 minutes. i complained. the guy who called me told me that these sms were all related to spam sms complaints i have filed over the last couple of days. irony. good thing it is easier to get rid of sms on my phone. if it was a featurephone, i would have gone mad.
Yes... A reason why I have even considered stop reporting it.. I get 3 SMS for each spam reported. Thats 4 in total including the spam 1)Spam 2) Spam Report Received 3) Service Req No. for Spam Reported 4) Status of SR .. The last 3 from Airtel 
And yes, its like a batch.. Wherein I sometimes get reports consolidated. So for 4-5 SMS reported over 2-3 days... I get reports in all one shot.

I hear you guys. Believe me, it is very frustrating. It is like the provider is harassing customer for reporting a spam. However, I have a plan.
1) What if, after reporting an spam, the app waits for a confirmation message from 1909 and deletes it as soon as it arrives.
AND/OR
2) When you start app, all the messages from 1909 and messages from your provider about the complaint are deleted automatically.
