So we are batting first. Good choice. In Odi's we were on too much pressure batting second. Rahane inclusion is a good decision as on this pitch jaddu won't be effective. As for Ishant in place of bhuvi again I favor that as this pitch has bounce and Ishant can extract it whereas bhuvi can only swing it. First session is very crucial.

Vijay is surprisingly doing well , Dhawan looked like a tailender, i think ashwin will bat better than him , Gambhir would have done better here, i remember last series in south africa gambhir did well when he used walk down the pitch to the fast bowlers .

Surprising to see Rahul Dravid in commentary, i dont understand when cricketers reitre they keep saying they would spend time with family and as soon as they retire they still travel with the national team doing television commentary. Had he not retired he could still be playing in the Indian team, he was better than Sachin over the last few years.
