Sorry to say this, there is not very much swing or seam movement as everyone thought it would be, its only fast. Its nice batting track just like WACA, where England were able to score 350 runs in the fourth innings.
Credit where it is due, there is not much swing and seam movement but still the batsman have made an effort to leave balls outside off stump. We have seen in the past how our batsman chase balls outside and throw their wickets away even on such pitches.

Excellent century by Kohli. If it were not for the stupid run-out of Pujara, India would have been in a great position now. Now, with only Dhoni to follow, this pair has to continue till at least tomorrow. India could be in a great position.

What a wrong time to get out! Brilliant innings nonetheless by Kohli. Now only if we can manage another 120-30 runs with remaining 5 wickets.

Cricinfo
Bindu Kumar: "No one seems to have realized that after 3 years an Indian batting at number 4 position scored a century in test cricket!"
Lol.. Sachin did not for 3 years and Kohli does it in the 1st inning after that...

So 255/5. Quiet good I guess when people were predicting all out below 200. Another 100 runs and we are in drivers seat. As well as Kohli played special mention for Rahane. Splendid batting. Nohit should learn something from them.

Kohli, Pujara and Rahane could be next BIG 3 :)
Rohit needs to get consistent in performance for next few years, to be counted in big league.
But real concern is whether Dhawan is losing what he earned in last few series. He is now getting out very easily and early.

Let's hope they don't mess up and get bowled out under 300 now which happens in the next day morning.

Basically we have two wickets this one and with Ashwin... So it all depends on how long these two partnerships last..
