I agree...benjamin you made a good choice...you don't know till you use it....you will get good and bad reviews from every person for every product, when it's new you should wait...but TS is now almost year and a half i think so nothing lost...hope you enjoy it!

I am using TS from the month it has been launched. I am happy that i am having TS. The only disadvantage of TS perosnally after using it is the availability of Tamil Channels which very very less and i also know the fact that for any DTH operator to carry all the regional channels will be a problem. Because of less number of tamil channels I have also opted for my local cable for tamil channels. For me personally if hindi viewing people TS is very good in adding the channels and delivering it too. I think it will take some time for the DTH operators to deliver all the regional channels:thumbsup:. I dont think even reliance will satisfy the south indian public in the initial stages.

Hi,

Im using Scv cable on one tv and sundth on my other.Im going to cut the SCV and buy a DTH.Im planing to buy Tata Sky.Is it really worth going on TS?

Sorry for my poor English
tata sky is worst as they have packages on regional basis .they have a starter pack of rs.200 which includes only south indian channels which is of no use for people leaving iutside south india and most importantly they have onle 138 channels includingtheir 22 interactive channels means it offers onle 116 channels in which 7 channels are a part of Lifestyle gold pack avialable for rs.30 per month and 2 channels in sports gold pack available for rs.149 per annum,this means after deducting more 9 channels only 115 channels are available for rs.350 per which they call south jumbo pack. so they are fooling the customers altough they are adding latest channels but to get thos eu have to pay for thse channels.

i fee all regional channles should be made add on packs like tamil telugu kannda marathi so that pack price will be reduced for telugu people all other regional channels just useless like vice versa with ref to other state people untill now nobody raised this issue but if sun is offering such a plans why not ts simply wasting money even though u dont watch those channels paying money to them i wish that atleast ts will change packs with add on regional channels like sun :cool:

I am a TS costumer since November 2006. According to my experience TS is cheating us. Sun Direct is best for South Indians. I am going to change from TS to Sun Direct.

I had the mistake of going with TS..but for sure..TS is better than Dish TV when it comes to quality.

If you are not cared much about regional channels go for Tata Sky( beware: they are bent upon increasing the rates without adding new channels):)

Tata Sky was good till Feb 08, then they launched these packages, visit charges for technican if your set top box is having any problem, or your box is not receiving channels. Now TS will ask you to pay for every small things....... So keep yourself and your friend's away from TATA SKY......................... I hate them...........
:wall::wall::wall::wall::wall::wall::wall:

wonder with the cheating and the smallness they have stooped to , if they are really a part of tata flagship...
