same issue, getting new connection installed now. WARP+ fixes the problem but the latency is awful.

Are you using any firewall/Antivirus in your PC?
How are you checking your internet speed?

How many services are you running of your router. If possible, use bridge mode and use a router capable of handling 300mbps. I am suspecting, your router is throttling due to temperature rise and cpu bottlenecking due to NAT. Best bet will be using bridge mode and check speed via PPPOE from PC 1st. This can give you some approximation about the possible source of problem.

Didn't get services as such. But yes, my primary router is Airtel one with 2 LAN ports. One port connects to my personal TP-Link router and the other one to my desktop PC. Mine is a 3 bhk apartment and hence using 2 routers (One mine and one airtel's) in conjunction for better coverage. Its only one network from primary, but the LAN output goes to my TPlink router as an extension (No configuration done explicitly) So far didn't have concerns for 5-6 months. But only since a month or so

Currently on a bridge mode internet with static IP through my router TP-Link Archer 2300. I have disabled PPPOE and currently have only IPoE protocol interface, WAN (VOICE connection type), and Bridged protocol interface, WAN (INTERNET_TR069 connection type)

InterfaceVLAN IDConnection TypeProtocol
nas0_1660VOICEIPoE
nas0_3100INTERNET_TR069Bridged

The internet speed was very good and over 200 per my plan for a week over LAN and WIFI. But suddenly now, since 12 hrs, speed dropped to 90-95 Mbps. No matter what I do, reset or whatever, speed doesn't cross 95 Mbps in my system which was giving great results earlier.

Am even keeping my tplink router cool with fan below. WIFI speed is good though and not impacted. I tried with other cable and that also has same issue. Similar issue happened with my other cable after 2-3 weeks of good speed over LAN. What could be the problem?

Hey; avoid spamming the same post over multiple threads...

First, for such meager speeds and simple NAT, you do not need any fans. Passive cooling is fine.

As for the speed, if it is good over Wi-Fi. I believe we can rule out any router issues.
Check for the interface speeds on your desktop and router; if it says 1Gbps, try a local loop test.
If it fails, try with a different cable, and even if that fails update your driver and even if that fails you might want to consider getting your rj45 port checked.

the first thing you should see is,you are getting packet loss or not
if you are getting packet loss then its airtel's hardware and there's not much you can do by your side(one of the software that can help you identify is 'WinMTR',you can literally see each hope's packet loss and stuff)
and see if it is only peak time or it happen all the time
if you are not getting packet loss then problem might be something else and mostly isnt something to see much,it will be either your hardware or router.
do that WinMTR thing and look at the time, mostly speed issue occurs at around 10pm coz its most active time of users

also the case can be,your ethernet might be on 100mbps limit and might be switching automatically with your usage to fix that
open control panel,go to network and internet->network and sharing center->change adapter settings->select the adapter you are using like ethernet or wifi->properties->configure->advanced->set speed & duplex to 1gbps full duplex->ok

Thanks for the response. There seems to be no loss on WINMTR (Pinged host of main router gateway and also ISP IP given - tried both as I didn't know).

But below are the weird findings mentioned earlier too. Am confused here as sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Even on bridge mode, am getting this. Earlier i had similar issue with Airtel router as well.
Connection was above 200-250 consistenly for a week. It came down to 95. Tried resetting multiple times - didn't work. Restarted multiple times. One time restart worked and speed came above 250.
Connected to VPN and once disconnected, boom, the speed came down to 95. Speed not going beyond 100.
Ethernet Adapter showed 1 Gbps when speed above 250 in control panel, but it shows 100 Mbps when speed is 95 or less.
