Kalaignar News and Zee Tamil on Tata Sky

Hey guys 3 days back when i was seeing a tamil news channel on some topic one political leader held a press conference and in that press conferece i did see the mic of Zee-Tamil apart from other TV channels. I would like to know whether Zee has launched its tamil channel

No AjuRavi, Me too see this for the past one month, i heard that Zee Tamil will launch around September this year.
Another issue is, since we are using Tata Sky, its difficult for us to see this channel.:wall:

I dont think channel will come to TS atleast for the next 1 year as apart from this channel TS needs to add other channels such as Jaya Music channel, Isai Aruvi, Raj Channels too.............Think about other channels i dont think Zee Tamil will be coming to TS platform for atleast for a min of 1yr

Tamil channels on Tata Sky is hard. At present Dish tv provides the most number of Tamil channels and then Sun direct comes 2nd.

2 hit channels from ZEE - ZEE 24 TAS (leading marathi news channel as of now) & ZEE TALKIES (only marathi movie channel) are also not available on Tata Sky So need to think what would happen with ZEE TAMIL

I think it will be difficult for Zee to compete with other tamil channel such as the dinosaur group of sun channels, Kalaignar, Vijay, Jaya and Raj Channels but nothing is impossible if you pump in the money.........

During lanuch of Star Vijay, most of them tell like this only "apadi yenna perusa kilichida poranga" but now the tread is changed, Even Sun TV copied the Vijay TV prog.

it is all money that speaks. If you pay ajuravi money then he will start supports Sundth or Dishtv or Bigtv.:thumbsup:

@ kumarVijay TV growth was attained when Star has taken over that channel before that many said it was a useless channel and it was star who pumped in money in vijay tv for variety of programmes and now its one of the leading channel in Tamil and i hope the same can happen to ZEE Tamil my point was the competition would be very high when compared to other languages
