@Kamei That’s to control bandwidth and if your requirement is to control data you may have to explore options suggested by @shashankb. I am using bandwidth control by assigning less speed, in turn it is helping in controlling data.
@Kamei you could turn on MAC Whitelisting so that only authorized MAC addresses are allowed to access internet, then you can ask everyone to turn of mac randomization lol
A radius server with username and password based log in. WPA2 enterprise for everyone. Usernames don’t change, even if session ids, session times, etc change.
SNMP and VLAN Are your friends here. If you don’t expect to add users constantly set static VLANs for usernames with data rate limiting. You’d need Ubiquiti if you want the easy way out.
