Live.com is not opening on BSNL Broadband

So I am guessing Live.com is having connectivity issues. Maybe try using a desktop client and connect to your account using pop? Try altomail.com?

It is working smooth on airtel. Plus I checked with other BSNL users too, from other cities, they are having no prob. loading the websites.

Something to add here.
Similar to live, facebook is going the same. It was opening last night but now it isn't. When I use Opera turbo, the login page opens but after click on Login, the next page is always not loading.

The modem is EchoLife HG850a and the connection is Optical fibre.

Been a long time since I accessed the interface. Can you log into the modem and poke around WAN settings?

I'm not sure if the HG850 has an option for it, though.

Yes, I can.
But I cannot see any MTU setting.

Also, I tried uploading a 100kb pic to 4-5 image hosts but none worked. Hangs at uploading. What the hell is with bsnl.

The BSNL complaint guy came and he absolutely had no idea and finally left saying that the problem is with computer even though I showed him that the site is opening fine on same computer with different ISP. He'll come again tomorrow.
Meanwhile, Google showed some results with people saying that port 25 is blocked or something. You guys have any idea regarding this?
