Last few days Rahul Gandhi is touring many parts of country in 'Discover India' campaign. He has toured many parts in Orrisa, Karnataka. Although the campaign seems to be renamed as 'Discover Rahul' because its now that many people are getting familiar with new Gandhi. Also congress is getting agressive with Rahul in Lead in UP and Cong not willing to comment whether Manmohan Singh will be PM candidate for next LS election. Is Congress trying to project Rahul Gandhi as next PM?Will 'India' accept him as new PM or prefer some one like Manmohan Singh (Or Advani)?

He doesnt appear to be very intelligent to me He may be honest , but honest people rarely survive in Indian Politicsalso he had earlier campaigned extensively in UP where congress faced one of their biggest defeats doesnt seem fit to be in politics for me

the poll is asking 2 questions:
Is Cong projecting Rahul as PM? Will India accept?
The ans to 1st ques is "yes", they are projecting rahul as PM
The ans to 2nd ques is (i believe) "no", india may not accept for some of the reasons i believe same as above mentioned by manu1991

BJP do not have a good PM candidate, unless they start projecting Modi.
The third front is going to be another big joke as they have proved clearly that they (the cpm / jd / sjp ... ) are not capable of ruling. That left us with our chotu alone... Anyway its gonna be another coalition government, means nothing good will happen to the country in next 5 years more.

He is prone to speaking a lot of nonsense - the Gandhi family divided Pakistan and all that. But that seems to be part of the great Indian political tradition, so can't blame him really.As for the coming elections, it is a question of alliances. The UPA is holding firm while the NDA has become the Nearly Dead Alliance. And the Left's idea of a third front in combination with those sore losers (UNPA) is a non starter. What will most probably happen is this - a hung assembly with the government being formed by either BJP + UNPA or UPA + UNPA + Left, depending on who accommodates the most.If the UPA does come back into power (have my doubts), I don't think Manmohan Singh is in for a second term. Most probably another regent will hold the seat till Rahul Gandhi 'matures'. And a Congress PM is only possible if the Congress has at least as many seats as it holds at present - about 180. Otherwise forget it.
Thats because he is from software engineer background.He thinks, plans and execute.I think even though he is not good in speech but he is intellegent and smart to be prime minister. Atleast will get young, smart and educated prime minister for first time.
