I don't know if I bought from playstore, maybe from sygic site, so I might have to give details.

right i paid via paypal and bought from their site ............am i supposed to get mapmyindia license ?

He had sent that email from the above ID only. Afaik you will get a free upgrade only if you bought the Sygic Mapmyindia app.

UPDATE:
I got the free upgrade. They sent me a 7 step procedure which required to click a link sent by them with a unique code.
