for all those asking for a user guide, it's right there in the device. when you access your device through your browser(http://192.168.1.1/)
just click on the user guide icon (white and green) at the top and it will get downloaded to your computer.
 
Hi I got my device. Its working perfectly except that I got only 3 hrs backupIs there an option to reduce its wifi range - strength of signal to save on battery
 
I am currently using this as well and I am suffering from a huge problem!The device just goes OFF when the charge is extremely low even when it is charging! This has really disrupted my work since everytime the device goes OFF I have to wait for some 30 mins for some charge to accumulate and only then it turns ON.Tried everything.. NO USE.. Any help appreciated..This is causing extreme FRUSTRATION for me
 
Hi All,I am new to this forum and read this thread to get an idea about Micromax 400R.I have few questions before i purchase this device:1. Is this good for Ipad 2?2. Is this good for vedio chating/calling?3. Will it work in all India?Thanks for replies
 
Yes to all if you configure it correctly. I have been able to use it on all the cellphones that had wifi. Most of the cellphone work on Java and have their own propriety OS. It is good for video chatting, used it with skype. It all depends on the speed that the network gives you. The modem is built for high speed. Yes if does work in India, and that is why it is being sold here.You will have to contact Micromax for solving this. It does not happen with me.Well all you have to do is open the modem settings page in Internet explorer. I could not access the manual as i tried to open the modem in google chrome.
 
Harsh, I tried to find the Micro SD card on the computer, I could not get it. My PC is lenovo with windows 7. It did not show up an pen drive on wireless. It shows up as pen drive only when connected through PC. While mapping network drives the modem is seen as
