Micromax MMX 400R MiFi Router Review and INSTALLATION .

Hey hi,I am still looking the aspect of buying the product that you have mentioned, the only issue that is concerning me is the heating problem. I am not sure if it does have a heating issue with it. Cause the only reason i am not able to buy is that i am not sure if this device like the previous one of mind from another brand, got heated up so much that i couldn't keep it in my bad as well. So if you can help me by telling that if the device do gets heated up, and to how much extent ( this you can tell by rating the heating level on a scale of 10) and that to after how long usage does it heat up.Your reply would be really helpful. Thanks, and great day ahead. :)

Boss all devices heat up in use. This is no exception. I keep it plugged and use it the entire day. It works fine. It does heat up but that's okay.

Your reply would be really helpful.

The device gets heated up and this is normal for all devices that have cellphone type battery. I have used the micromax mmx 400r till the end of its charged capacity. It does not heat up unusually. During charging too it does heat up but not unusually too.

Sorry for my ignorance, but will this work with Idea? In which case I would need to ask them for a 3G netsetter connection without the datacard/usb stick (i.e. SIM card only)?

I have purchased an Idea net setter sim( or a Sim with 3G plan only) from Idea. I am using it for the past two months no MMX 400R. No problems at all, no speed reductions or drops of any sort.

^ seems like a good deal. Straight 1000 bucks off. How is it compared to the Micromax mmx 400r? Also, is this deal with manufacturer warranty?Edit: It does say it's with manufacturer warranty, but it only seems maybe marginally better than the 400r. But it's still almost 1000 bucks more than the 400r. Added to that Huawei is Chinese and has a shady reputation. So I'm thinking I'd rather support Micromax and save money in the process.

AFAIK Huawei is the best ........i'm using huawei umg1831 for the last 2 years and i did not face any problem, i also have huawei e585 mifi device.........i will prefer huawei e586 over micromax 400r......i need oled display.
