Microsoft SMS Organizer not showing any notifications for new texts

Well, I haven't tried changing back. Did now. Will update.

I am thinking to uninstall app, but it worked great to backup and restore messages when I changed mobiles, so haven't uninstalled yet.
As of Google Messages is default app.

Google backup does work fine with sms backup and restore. I stopped doing manual backup of sms coz I ended up duplicating all sms

Yup did get alert on SMS, hope it continues to work.

And the problem is back... I guess it briefly worked for some reason - or maybe it is random?

man did they fix that thing where they stopped separating messages from same sender based on their nature? stanchart or some other bank used to send promo message from the same sender which was used to send transaction alerts. they used to show them separately. which was very nice. but eventually they stopped doing it. which made the app kind of pointless for me.
