from what i see pricing is not bad for the hardware they are offering. except for the display which is pentile, there is absolutely nothing wrong with the phone. it's a fantastic package and excellent specifications.

Mega LOL. Kindle Fire did much better, and without Google's backing. All said, Google does have a winner in ICS. If they now make the right moves (and noises), they should be able to put up a much better fight in the tablet space

google still is avoiding getting involved in the hardware manufacturing process. they are still talking about how they are going to stay out of motorola operations even after the acquisition. but from what i see... android 4 is pretty much the android 2 of tablets. android smartphones became relevant after android 2 was launched. before that they were crude devices that were bought by people who could not afford iPhones. hopefully android 4 would do to tablets what android 2 did to smartphones! overall... android ics is finally mature. the ui is silky smooth and good looking. i can finally start recommending it to anyone who is looking for a good looking smartphone. sadly all the leaked images of manufacturer skins look crazy bad compared to native android ics. :(

I don't think ICS requires customisations. Previous mods (Sense in particular) were popular because vanilla Android was almost like a dev build, and completely end user unfriendly. ICS is a different tale. I have been using the Nexus ROM (modded for DHD) and absolutely love what it has to offer. Android, finally, has come of age.

Bored with Sense. Only thing I miss is the view of multiple home screens at once. That apart, unadulterated ICS is very good.
