@dantool when did you get it replaced and do they change it immediately or i need to keep my phone with them for some days?

most service centers in metro cities would return it same day,
if replacement part is out of stock most of them would tell you to come on specified date.

@mayank1200 took them 10 days to replace it, but the screen was out of stock at that time. Moto g has the most fragile screen I've ever seen.

thnks for the reply, i called the service centre in subhash place, he said it will cost Rs. 4100/-
Lajpat nagar said Rs.4500.
in Gurgaon it is above 5k.
such a huge variation in the price.

finally got the cracked screen fixed at Netaji subhash place service centre...went all the way from gurgaon, they changed it in front of me...hand to hand....pretty liked their service.
However, it costed me Rs. 4100....although cheap compared to our other service centers in NCR and that too on the same day.
now i am gonna buy tempered glass protector for it as the screen is very fragile.
does using the tempered glass hinder with touch capabilities like do i need to press it instead of touch or is it just like not using the protector at all???
