Moved to Mumbai

Hey guys,I just moved to Mumbai from Gurgaon. Now, no more IPTV for me. I called up Airtel to ask if my account with Airtel Broadband can continue and I can choose a plan here for me, but surprise, surprise! I have to close my account there, and apply for a new connection. So, Airtel is not a national company, still operates regional only. I am new to Mumbai, and rented a house in Malad. Please suggest me a plan to choose here. Someone told me that I can get a Freedom 2499 plan from Airtel, which is 2Mbps with no FPU (It has 100GB FPU, but the speed after 100GB still is 2Mbps). I can't find it on Airtel website, so not sure if its true. Hope to get some good inside for choosing the best plan for me. I was using 1Mbps "true" unlimited plan (old one) from Airtel in Gurgaon, and my average use per month is about 50-60 GB.

IINM, MTNL is there in Mumbai, and they pretty fantastic plans. May be you should check them out first.

Welcome to Mumbai. In my opinion MTNL is the best in Mumbai. 1mb/s unlimited for Rs.999 and the newly launched nights and weekends 2mb/s for 1333 are good.Have only had downtime once for 4 hours in the last 1 and a half years and initially speeds were 3x of promised speeds.
