Hey guys,Does the mtnl connection continue to work when out of 3G coverage area and it switches to Edge mode? If I goto the balcony in my living room it latches onto 3G and works flawlessly. The data connection refuses to work inside my house when its on Edge mode even if the network bars have full strength. I have experienced the same thing on a recent road trip as well. 3G on mtnl and bsnl networks works perfectly fine and coverage is decent. But if it ever switches to edge then it goes dead. Quite bothersome when you quickly want to send out that urgent mail or just refresh news etc.I wouldn't mind the slower speeds if only it worked on edge mode as well. Any solutions for this?

Even i still get disconnections tho i don't keep much track of them.But i think they must be time related as is the case with you guys.Must be getting disconnected after a certain time.Will check more carefully when i'm online tomorrow.Also since afternoon today, i have a major speed drop...down to 1 Mbps..Anyone else have that?Pretty annoying all this.Edit: Now that i check my transfer logs, even i noticed the disconnections happen every 30-45 or so minutes..Edit 2: Today i checked and saw every disconnection was exactly after 35 minutes..

Has anyone been having a considerable drop in speeds.Been getting low speeds(~1 Mbps) since tuesday.Its a huge turnoff . This is my current speed..

from 2mb to sometimes it goes down to .28mbps browsing is fcked up as ever due to that
