MTNL 3G Jadoo Setup on iPhone for 3G services

Hello cherianI have already tried both of these. The first one only installs a profile and doesn't give you option for mms2nd one has it all but doesn't work for some reason. I think I have the settings right so I will first see if it works on any other phone. I got tethering enabled on my phone via first editing the commcentre file in phone via a hexeditor and then using the 1st site you have written to make a profile with tethering enabled. All this work is required in only firmware 3.1 and above because Apple has blocked tethering untill the ipcc file is digitally signed by apple. So tethering works but mms doesn't yet. I have exams coming till December 7 th. Will try out new stuff after that. Thanks.

Hi I have a iPhone 3gs which I brought from the us 3 weeks back and unlocked it with blacksnow.I was able to access the 3g services initially using the apn pps3g ,as above but now for the past 4 days am not able to access the 3 g with the same error could not activate cellular data.I can access the Internet with 3g turned off but the speeds are none as compared to the 3 g which I was getting earlier. I have tried all methods including reset nw settings, reset all,and today upgraded to 3.1.2 from 3.1 and unlocked with blacksnow again but am still getting the same message on 3g.can't understand what went wrong after I was able to access the 3g initially .somebody please help.

@Dr Amanlisten I have the exact same problem. I, along with a friend of mine (@cherian -Tushar) got an officially unlocked 3Gs from bankok. We were using the 3G network for the last 15 days. Also I have 2 more friends who are on iPhone 3G and were also using the mtnl 3G. Now 4 days back all 4 of us lost the 3G net connection of mtnl. It only works if you disable the 3G connection. So this in no way is an isolated issue. So we have all been harrasing the mtnl customer care guys about this. (or maybe we should say it's the other way round. But I haven't even come to the best part yet... From my own 3G sim of mtnl, on 3G phones other than the iPhone, the 3G connection works perfectly. This is bizzare. The only explanation I can come up with is that mtnl guys are somehow specefically blocking 3G on iPhones (although why they would be doing that is beyond me!)Me and my friends are doing the only thing they can... Grumbling about mtnl's service and trying to explain this wierd problem to the extremely intellegent, sophisticated and technical customer care executives.I suggest you do the same as well. Do tell us if you have any new information.

Believe me the customer "care" doesn't really "care" about the needs of it's customers in the case if mtnl.
I was asking them the settings for mms and they got me on hold for 7 minutes before cutting the line on my face... They get full marks for customer satisfaction for this.

Yup THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED.

@ Dr. Aman what u an do is spent 20 minutes of your andoads of brain and launch a complain at customer care 300. Have done it today. And they say they will get back in 24 hrs. Hope 3g works soon coz Mtnl edge and GPRS sucks big time
