I txt ACT HSDPA to 444 and nothing happened. Speeds still same.

As with all things MTNL, it will happen eventually. I'd guess 24 hrs at least.

When did you SMS (date & time)? Post when HSDPA is activated (time taken).

I txt 4 days ago still nothing charged.

Call Customer Service at 1503 / 1506 / +919869012345. Complain and take a docket number.

If not resolved, call / write to office of the GM (Switching & Mobile Services)

Hi,Can you give the email address of the GM switching and mobile services as I wanted to complain for my docket not yet resolved. Thanks

Hi,

Can you give the email address of the GM switching and mobile services as I wanted to complain for my docket not yet resolved.

Thanks

Please look it up here

Argos - the link that you provided did not help. All the email listed there are very complicated to understand also I send emails to all the GM emails listed in the excel sheet and all I got was email system delivery failure. If you have the email address of the GM Switching kindly provide it to me on a PM so that I can send an email directly to him. Thanks for your helpKailash

If the list of officers, their names, designations, phone numbers and email ids didn't help, I really can't do any better.Sending emails to all the GMs on the list was foolish; you just spammed everyone on that list! It certainly won't solve your problem.Courtesy and politeness go a long way in helping solve problems. You have made me regret my trying to assist you.

Argos,The list of officers in the excel is in short forms and does not specify which email address is for Mr Deepak - GM Switching. When I said that I send an email to all of them on the list does not mean I send it at one go. What I did was - I send an email on one address and since it returned failure, I resend the same message on other email address and so on and so forth but all the email address returned as system delivery failure. I am aware of the nuisance of spamming and would not want to do the same to anyone. Anyways thanks for your help. Let see what I can figure out now. By the way the ACT HSDPA is not for Delhi and delhi mtnl has a completely different APN settings for HSDPA unlike mumbai where gprsppsmum is used. I feel there is something to do with the APN settings and probably there will be some other settings available for Mumbai prepaid which would be specific to 3g or HSDPA like Delhi but we are not aware of this.

My thread is with reference to my experience with MTNL Mumbai. How does Delhi crop up? Your status reads Mumbai too, so am confused.

Try calling the referred GM's office; I think you'll get quicker results in resolving your problem.

Some good news!

MTNL Mumbai Data enquiry is no longer charged @Rs.2 per SMS, it's FREE as of 24/02/2011! Order was passed last evening.

Been fighting for this for a month; glad that I could change something.

You can also check your voice balance by typing *444# on you phones.

The fight against speed capping and CLI number formatting continues.

Note: some new numbers may be getting error messages when SMSing 444; MTNL is aware of the problem and is working to fix that... something to do with delayed profile creation on their systems.
