how much does one get with this plan ...
pls post ur speeds

ever since i swithced to 8mbps 1050 .. the usage pages shows 3x data while my usage is as before
is mtnl ripping its 8mbps users??

No..... I havnt seen any sign of it....... And I tend to check their data usage website every couple of days....

The data usage naturally goes up when u get more speeds.....

e.g.: on 2Mbps u will not watch YouTube at 720p coz of buffering...... max 480p..... But on 8Mbps the website or even the phone will switch to HD quality..... so naturally the data usage goes up....

Q1. Are these stats good for upgrading to 8Mbps 165Gb plan? (I currently have 1.1Mbps day, 1.8Mbps evening+night)

Q2. Would also like to know if anyone has experienced MTNL cheating in FUP statistics? (It's highly unlikely, but I don't trust MTNL lol)

Q3. I get many random disconnections everyday (5-20 each day). I have 120.xxx IP address, would requesting them for a port change to 58.xxx help?

I am using D-Link 2750U ADSL router for 8mbps plan, the issue I am facing is quite weird. My Phone, Laptop, Nexus 7 Tab can see Wi-Fi Network in range but Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 (10.1) cannot see Wi-Fi network. I tried connecting it manually by providing SSID, it says Network not in range. Interestingly, Samsung tab connects to Wi-Fi network in my office without any issues. So I am clueless as to where the problem is – is it with Router or Tab? Can someone help. It's there firmware update to be done for this router, can't find any on net though
