BTW my house is just 1.1 km from exchange (checked it on google maps walking distance).
Will there be any issue.
Dont think so........ u should atleast get 7Mbps.....
I took 8Mbps at my uncle's place..... on 29th Oct....... still the line is syced at 2Mbps......
Called them twice..... both times the guy says it will be done in few mins..... then he calls and says its done.... just restart ur router...... but still synced at 2Mbps.....
why is tht??

The latency is awesome!

Can't seem to get more than 2mbit on torrent today. Reaches a peak of 900kBps once in a while and then back to 225-230. Anybody else facing the same?Tried multiple torrents, multiple sources. Idiots are throttling torrents :/EditEven Usenet is crawling. Guess they've messed something up.

I dont think they should even try to throttle the speed..... since its limited GB's..... even if they sync us with 20Mbps.... the limit will remain same..... so they arnt making any loss....

Only speedtest shows 8mbit. Rest everything is at 1mbps. They've messed with some config for sure. Can't even stream YouTube properly at 360p. Random timeouts too :/ Just hoping it fixes itself. Little I can do to complain.
