MTNL Broadband: 8mbps Plans

Anybody experiencing sudden Internet drop/ disconnection in last few days?Happening with me once in a day or two.

Yes I am noticing too. DSL remains stable but ping to 8.8.8.8 (Google DNS) does not work.

Then suddenly it starts pinging again! (without disconnection)

Does mtnl counts both upload and download in data usage bcz they are reducing my speed when my download is just 16.xxx amount of download.
My fup limit is 28 gb

Getting 7mbps here. Maybe the issue is localised? Which exchange and IP series?

i am on the 182 series too but i get full 9.8 on vdsl.
this seems to be a problem at the local exchange .
