Great. So I am not alone.

My connection has been behaving weird lately. Was facing massive packet loss a couple of days ago. Since then, every once in a while it'll stop working for a few seconds. Haven't had time to diagnose the issue. But, I'm guessing time to leave Ericsson?

Randomly increasing the sync speed to > 8 Mbps will definitely cause SNR issues on long lines. While it is a good thing, for some people it may not be.

What do you mean when you say only Annex M connects? Why not the rest. ADSL Modulation is backward compatible.

Which is why I'm surprised. With G.DMT for example, I can sync and obtain an IP but data transfer won't take place!

That is weird. On my MTNL connection, SNR was so poor that I could only connect and have a half stable connection with g.dmt.
ADSL2+ was a dream and would only work early mornings when the SNR was 9-10.
