^^ trueMumbai was always expensive then delhi by all ispsNow that mtnl in mumbai has become aggressive we see lot of mumbai users in this forum suddenly become active !

Not to offend anyone but till now MTNL Delhi users were paying less for the same plan as compared to their Mumbai counterparts.

So the discrepancy of the pricing in the two cities existed for quite a long time but no action was taken.

Even though the name (MTNL) is same in both the cities, I think they are virtually two different organizations aloof of each other.

I want 2mbps connection and its 3999 rs in mumbai but 8999 rs in delhi, almost 5000 rs difference. You were paying only may be 200 or 500 rs more. its ok, but a difference of 5000 rs really annoying. :notallowed:

My emails to both of them are still unanswered. I am really angry with both MTNL delhi and TRAI :madness::@

This is India. It is not a public-sector/govt or private sector issue...nobody in India will respond. Samsung will not, Airtel will not, Vodafone will not. I have experienced their silence.

The only thing is that if we keep jamming MTNL or TRAI then they will have to sit up and take notice. I have experience of this too!;)

So, write in all. And, if Mumbai suffered higher rates why didn't anybody there raise a shindig?

ya man, I don't wanna switch to airtel right now I hope that they come out with magic box on 2nd october

and one problem with Airtel broadband is that, all unlimited plans have a fair usage policy in which if one download above 75 Gb then the speed will reduce to 256 kbps :wall:

but fortunately till now mtnl doesn't have any fair usage policy :urock:

I totally agree with you that such a huge difference in the price of the same plan in the two cities should not exist. I do hope that MTNL Delhi bridges the difference in the prices very soon.

If I'm not wrong some people on this forum had already pointed out that discrepancy to MTNL Mumbai but as expected it didn't elicit any response from them.

Just sent this to the CMD and EDD:-----------------------------------Good to see that MTNL is following the illustrious path blazed by other Indian organisations of just not responding to customer communication. The customer is really a pest who just needs to pay his/her bills regularly.-----------------------------------@zeoOne needs to shout to arouse these people from their sleep. They are just not tuned to listening to the consumer.

^Totally agree with you.A suggestion from my side: Do write in to any print media like Times Of India or likes for a wider circulation of this discrimination to have a greater impact.
