Damn they're giving only some 20 Channels in the start which they say will expand to 200...

MTNL did what it is good at
“Initially, we would be offering 24 channels which would increase to 200 soon. You would also be able to get in video and music on demand and a host of services like e-learning, “ he said.
MTNL has planned to target its 2.2 million subscribers in Mumbai at an introductory offer of Rs 199. “We have an advantage in comparison to others as we have a wide telephonic network in the country,” M S Rana, Executive Director of MTNL, said.

It is because of regulatory framework that they are launching only 20 channels which are
all paid one because TRAI is yet to confirm whether it should bring Iptv under CableTV Act
or Telecom Act. Henceforth to avoid any petition from broadcasters Mtnl has decided to
launch only paid channels which was given a go ahead nod by TRAI.
hmm...so has anyone got it actually by now???launched on saturday, so i believe there must be at least one connection, or it's the day to start booking???
