MTNL Mumbai: 256 kbps unlimited pack now Rs. 749 per month

^^for the past 2 years, I've been paying around a 1000 rupees more every month to MTNL because of extra usage, all coz of that 1.25GB limit...not 'kanjuice' at all, or greedy or lucky

^^ why have a plan where you have to wait till mid night and come in eyes of your parents just to save some rupees. In fact you landed paying more and suffered more using such plans. !

^^coz I needed 2mbps and unlimited download ! Apart from that, there was no other plan available which was better than 849_NU at that time. Now, unlimited plans at quite affordable price are a much needed relief.

I just pray that the speed changing dept. remains as lazy as it is now!

Yes only a minimum 1-2 MBPS @5-700/month is logical. Bandwidth is cheap but these crooks are trying to create artificial scarcity. abroad high capacity at cheap rates are the norm thus most abroad guys u find them online thru out the day or even hosting their sites right from their comps.

i think mgcarley has given the details on the price of bandwidth in the country. its not really as cheap as we assume.
