have any of you guys noticed that the mtnl mumbai broadband site shows system time almost 20-25 minutes ahead of the IST. does this mean that the time (12 am and 8 am) for night unlimited plan also starts and ends 20-25 minutes before the IST?
Hi, If your are talking about the time on the speed test page; then that would be close to the actual time. The server that manages the timing for the D/Ls is a seperate entity altogether. At this moment in Delhi, the server is approx 10 minutes ahead; so at around 7:50 am IST; the server is already at 8.00 am. You can test the timings in the following manner. Note your PC time; reboot the router; check the time in the sessions history on the MTNL site; be guided by this difference. Check this once every week/month. Cheers...
