yohu, i havent read all the posts in this thread..but from what i have read..i think u have 2 problems
1) u wanna access the DSL 502T config page from the wi-fi network ie through the Linksys router
2) U get some sort of IP address conflict in the present config that u have
as far as (1) is concerned, u cannot access the webpage of the D-Link modem when it is connected to the internet or wan port of linksys..this requires some sort of juggling with IPTABLES which conventional firmware on the linksys wont allow..if u desperately want this functionality then u will have to flash ur linksys with customised firmware..search the net to see if cust. firmware has been developed for ur model.
As for point (2) i will give u a simple setup just let the Dlink remain at 192.168.1.1 (which i assume is default address and u havent changed it) put the linksys on 192.168.1.2 and use a subnet of 255.255.255.0 on both. Turn DHCP off on the dlink and put it in bridge mode and connect it to internet/wan port of the linksys router. Use the linksys to dial the PPPoE connection by feeding ur login data into it and use the port forwarding feature on teh linksys. Always remember that if u do portforwarding then u need to turn DHCP off on the linksys as well and assign static IP to all computers on the lan starting from 192.168.1.3 all with subnet of 255.255.255.0. Gateway will now be 192.168.1.2 ie the IP address of the linksys router.
^ This is teh standard setup recommended when u have an ADSL modem with routing capabilities connected to another router..u basically have to turn its routing & NAT off, and let the wireless router do the job
