Need Help to configure XZ000-G7 For My BSNL Fiber

Dear All IBF Team And Friend

i have sharp router which give me local BSNL vender but due to some problem router not working dead .

now i purchase TP-Link XZ000-G7 from Amazon to configure my BSNL

i have old config file and user id password details but when i try to add details on XZ000-G7 router its show minimum details to user where i enter username and password

please help guide me for setup

i ask local bsnl vender he asking me 1000/- for setup

Brdr, G7 is just a bridge mode device and you need a router alongside it, to make it work.

So, please buy a router that suits your budget and that's where you'll be using the PPPoE details.

G7 is modem which will convert your fiber into WAN. You need additional router to use wifi and connect other devices. Since it doesn't have telephone port you need one profile for regular internet connection.

@tr1k0N4 you can directly connect a PC/Laptop to G7. Instead of local IP you'll get public IP or CGNAT directly on that device. PPPoE can be configured directly in XZ000-G7.

What kind of XZ000-G7 are you using, brdr @deaddmaddy?
I agree with the first statement but the last statement just blew my mind

Ok did some research and G7 is just a media convertor not a modem. My bad
