What is the advantage of having Xstream box and paying for DTH extra, over installing Airtel Xstream app (with subscription) on a firestick and just taking the broadband plan.
Xstream app on firestick has almost little to no content and does not work the way Xstream box does, it also has no livetv option.
It's done this way purposefully.
Sideloading an Android Mobile version of xstream breaks the app and the quality will be awful.
One of the many reasons why I stopped airtel since the bundled apps without the box is pretty useless.
At least in Jio, one has a few selections of apps that can be used on (exclusively) cellular devices too, but for Airtel except Hotstar and Amazon, you will be required to use the Xstream App regardless. And if I'm not wrong, the Xstream App subscription is only valid for a year.
Any body here can help me with bill breakup? Does it mention the platform service or dth service in the bill? Or just a bill mentioning the whole amount?
