Thanks for the detailed information, the lady from Airtel seems misguiding here, my only requirement is to have separate broadband bill and she was like yes you can download and it will show the complete 1499+GST which is incorrect mostly.

I am already using 300 Mbps plan + 499 mobile postpaid so was thinking to opt for 2299, as by doing that I could have added my wife and mom dad in the extra add-ons, + dad is still using dish tv dth.

Also note any change in plan(upgrade or downgrade) after taking the connection you will loose all the OTT benefits of the plan as it’s only one time benefit.

@pankaj that lady gave you incorrect information. She's BSing you. I've been on Black 1599 + GST plan since Jan this year and you get a detailed consolidated bill for all your services and add ons like OTT etc. No separate bills at all. And do remember that you get some benefits only once.

Black bill cannot be paid from 3rd party apps. So unless you are having Airtel CC you end up paying more.

Airtel Black can be paid via Paytm/Google Pay/UPI and other methods but the transaction has to be started from Airtel Thanks app. I wont say it's a shit service..you do save a little bit and you avoid the waiting when you call 121 but then it doesn't match the hype created by Airtel. As long customers are a bit realistic then it's all ok.

You can deactivate airtel black plan at any time from airtel thanks app. Plus you can save like 100-200 rs approx on higher plans.

@pankaj @Chip I am using the Airtel Black plan. I can download the Postpaid bill separately, not sure about broadband because it's not in my Airtel Black.
But it's not straightforward and kind of too complex for a general person to do it.
Open the Airtel Thanks app -> Click on the Services tile -> Click on Postpaid -> Shortcuts (More) -> Update alternate no. -> Detailed Bill- Select the billing period and Click on Send button. You will receive the bill on your registered email id.

@imdarkray Thanks for the info.

Can anybody using Airtel Black see if the Broadband bill can be downloaded separately as well? If yes, what's the total amount they show if the plan is 100/200/300 mbps?
