Nexus S & 3G on BSNL?

Hi, I just picked up a 3G sim from BSNL for use with my Nexus S. Starting up the phone with the SIM didnt enable 3G. I suppose there is some configuration required for this. Anyone had luck with 3G on Nexus S before? Appreciate any help to get this working. Regards,Srini

Let us all know how it goes, I got an airtel no., looking to port it into a good 3G provider.
